stidy-spaceGoing to correspondence courses is great, as they allow you to be at the same school without loosing your friends and study the subject you want and that is not provided by your school.
Correspondence courses may be difficult. Most of the time you will be alone and so there should be involved a lot of self-motivation. But you have decided to do correspondence courses and want to do it really well. Read several pieces of advice to learn how:

1. Put in Order a Study Timetable. As correspondence courses need a self-motivated person, it is important that you stick to some study regime. A lot of your time will have class schedule and if you study by correspondence the classes will be put aside for you. But that is not your free time, but time for your correspondence class.

2. You should find a study space that suits for your subject the best. This means that if you are studying Agriculture, you should try using the library or agricultural shed or plot. In case you are studying Computers, you should go to a computer room where you have access to a Computer, Printer and Internet. Remember that your study space should be quiet and clean. Also it is best to do your work in a class room rather than the play ground or lunch seats, as these may be distracting.

3. Study Corner at Home. You spend at school about 6 to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, you sleep around 9 hours a day, and you probably have out-of-school activities such as sports and work. All this leaves you only a few hours a day for your correspondence courses. Hence it is necessary that you have a calm study space with almost everything you need at your finger tips. Be sure that you have a orderly and tidy desk, with drawers and folders dedicated to each subject. Ensure you have a pencil tin and pencil case, with high-lighters and markers, various colors of pens, pencils, ruler, eraser, and anything you may need. Light is important, so if your bedroom or study light isn't suitable or bright enough, buy a lamp that shines over your head and in front of you. Two more things that could cause problems are straining your eyes and being too cold or too hot. In order to prevent these things, make sure you have a heater or air-conditioner. In case you don’t, try having a fan or a wheat bag. Besides you can use water bottles, warm cups of hot chocolate or tea, (coffee won’t help you) and a lot of warm clothes.
