In this course, you will learn how to take better photographs and how to manipulate the images. It is conducted entirely by e-mail and is for beginners or those wishing to relearn the basics using a PC with Windows XP. A basic understanding of computers, the Internet and e-mail attachments is necessary. A free 30-day trial version of Adobe Photoshop Elements will be provided; however, Picasa2, which is a free editing program by Google, may also be used. All assignments are submitted electronically and as they are performed. You can enroll anytime. The course takes up to 6 months to complete.
